In EU years, how long do these commissioner hearings last?

“… and more specifically, when will they end as they’re often perceived as cruel and injust punishment for those that listen to them?”

That is fellow Euroblogger @linotherhino‘s first question of her charming mockery quiz show “Whatever you do, don’t mention it” with which she processes this first and intense week of designated commissioners being interrogated by the European Parliament. A week of hearings, as she put it, “like meeting the parents of your date. Awkward and often with the right (or for you, the wrong) questions asked.”

It is of course EU geekery at its best. Just have a look and enjoy.

If you whish to find out what other viewers and listeners had to endure during the hearings, simply follow Julien Frisch‘s advice and “(re-)read twitter messages with the hashtags “#hearing and #hearings“.

    Hi there Martin
thx for the “charming” and happy to have brought a bit of distraction to all those who, like us, had the pleasure of undergoing hours and hours of hearings! More to follow soon!
