Our International Campuses – Paris, France
France’s capital, the “City of Lights”, is most frequently associated with romance, fashion, and food by residents of other countries. The truth is that Paris, home to 2.2 million people, is infinitely more diverse. The headquarters of many multinational financial corporations, international NGOs, and manufacturing interests, Paris is a blend of cutting-edge culture, historical grandeur, and entrepreneurial spirit. It also cuts a grand figure on the international political scene.
SIU students who choose to pursue their degree in Paris will have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the bustling social life and priceless cultural treasures hosted in this legendary city.
SIU in Paris
SIU’s Paris campus is located on the south bank of the Seine in the 15th arrondissement. Our facility is close to the Montparnasse and the “Quartier Latin”—the “Latin Quarter”, so-called due to the number of university students that lived there in medieval and renaissance times who spoke Latin to bridge the gaps between their native languages. It is one of the city’s busiest and most vibrant districts.
Our modern students have access to a computer lab and student lounge at our own campus. Additionally, students can use research facilities at the nearby American Library of Paris.
