Parking for Employers

Employers parking on Miami University’s campus are required to have a parking permit, unless they choose to park in a paid parking garage or metered space on campus.

E-parking permits are typically sent via e-mail on Friday to the primary contact of each organization visiting campus to interview students the following week. It’s the primary contact’s responsibility to distribute the permit to pertinent staff in the company. If necessary, employers may obtain a parking permit upon arrival at Hoyt Hall. Employers are not required to write their license plate number on the permit for it to be valid.

Please note: the E-parking permit is only valid in the Hoyt and Boyd parking lots Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and elsewhere on campus after 6:00 p.m. and on weekends. Employers are welcome to use one of the two parking garages on campus for a nominal fee if they have appointments elsewhere on campus between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Student brand ambassadors are not permitted to use an employer’s E-parking permit.

The university has two parking garages. The Campus Avenue Garage is located on South Campus Avenue between the Campus Avenue Building and the Recreational Sports Center. The North Campus Garage is located underneath the School of Engineering and Computing on East High Street with access from Withrow Lane, which runs west off North Patterson Avenue.

A campus map is available for employers to view at their convenience.
